Areas of Practice

In criminal matters, Hadrien defends individuals accused of offenses and also represents complainants. He has gained particular experience in white-collar crime, international mutual assistance, asset recovery, offenses against physical or sexual integrity and reputation, cybercrime, traffic offenses, and juvenile criminal law.

In civil matters, Hadrien primarily acts in disputes arising from business life, such as commercial conflicts, employment relationships, or shareholder issues. He also handles disputes between private individuals (inheritance, contracts, personality rights).

Hadrien regularly handles complex civil and criminal litigation, particularly in the finance, commodities, technology, and watchmaking sectors.

Whether during legal proceedings or outside the courtroom, Hadrien frequently assists clients in negotiating settlement agreements.

Professional Background

Before co-founding Stralta in December 2023, Hadrien worked as a research assistant in the criminal law department at the University of Geneva (2012), trainee at Ming Halpérin Burger Inaudi (now Junod Halpérin) (2013–2014), associate at Borel & Barbey (2016–2019), and counsel at Mangeat Avocats (2020–2023).

In the field of teaching, Hadrien serves annually as an examiner for the oral advocacy workshop at the Geneva School of Advocacy, co-leads a training seminar for the Official Youth Foundation on the judicial system and preparing education professionals for civil and criminal hearings, and teaches a module (introduction to the Swiss Civil Code and data protection law) as part of the federal diploma program for tax experts.

Hadrien was a member of the Geneva Young Bar Committee for nine years (until 2024), including two years (2020–2022) as First Secretary (President) and member of the Bar Council. He also served on the Continuing Education Committee of the Geneva Bar Association for seven years (2016–2023).

Education

Hadrien holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and Philosophy (UNIGE), a Bachelor’s degree in Law (UNIGE), a bilingual Master’s degree in Economic Law (UNIGE–University of Basel), a Certificate of Specialization in Advocacy (UNIGE), and the Geneva bar exam.

He was awarded the UNIGE Prize for Rhetoric in 2008 and the Best Master's Thesis Prize in 2011 for his dissertation: “Corporate Criminal Liability: A Paper Tiger?”

Before his university studies, Hadrien earned a U.S. High School Diploma (Nebraska, USA) and a Swiss Maturity Diploma (Geneva).
