Nora Battisti
provides comprehensive legal support in business law, as well as banking and financial law, for companies and individuals.
Fields of activity
Nora advises private and institutional clients in business law, in particular in corporate law, commercial law and contract law.
In an international context, she assists entrepreneurs, investors, directors and shareholders in their growth strategy, in particular in the context of the creation of entities, financing, restructuring, fundraising, corporate governance, or in the implementation of incentive plans for employees.
Nora also advises banks, FinTech companies, insurance intermediaries, financial institutions and other financial service providers. She assists them on various regulatory and contractual aspects, in particular in the context of requests for authorization from FINMA, in their exchanges with this authority or supervisory bodies, as well as during organizational changes.
His advice is also aimed at ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering rules applicable to financial intermediaries.
Nora is also one of the initial members of the executive committee of the Swiss-Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce and sits on the boards of directors of Swiss companies. In this context, it ensures the good governance of the entities concerned.
Professional background
Before joining STRALTA in June 2025, Nora was Legal Intern at WLA Legal Services Inc. in Santa Monica (2014-2015), a trainee lawyer at Schellenberg Wittmer SA (2015-2017), an analyst at CA Indosuez Wealth Management SA (2017-2018), then a lawyer in the Corporate & Banking department at Borel & Barbey (2018-2025).
Education
Nora holds a Bachelor of Law (UNIGE), a Certificate in Transnational Law (UNIGE), a Master in Law (UNIGE), a Certificate of Specialization in Legal Affairs (UNIGE), as well as the Bar Certificate (Geneva).
Professional membership
Nora is a member of the Geneva Bar Association (ODAGE), the Swiss Federation of Lawyers (FSA), as well as the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA).
